BA II Plus VS Pro?

I do like the sturdier construction, easier access to battery some sort of watch battery, CR and the firm buttons are quite nice.

The buttons are distributed nicely to to form a nice rectangular device. You have to press the buttons pretty firmly though. Slows down my data entry, sometimes have to hit it twice. More like inputting numbers with both thumbs, like a touchscreen phone vs. Gets the job done, but i purchased the original version, works better for me.

Obviously with TI's dominance of the specialty calculator market we're not going to find unbelievable deals anywhere for their calculators. This one is quite good though. I've been using it in studying for CFA Level 2 and have found it to be very good. I do like the sturdier construction, easier access to battery some sort of watch battery, CR and the firm buttons are quite nice. If you can get it on sale it's a decent deal.

The one that arrived for me isn't the silver one from the picture but the black one - I like it though. I'll be leaning on it quite heavily for the next month but I expect it will be just fine.

Overall I'm pleased with the calculator, although I certainly think it would be cheaper. To add, both are fine! The features on the plus will do just fine. I do like that the pro has a battery door instead of forcing you to take the whole back off with a screwdriver like the plus does. The pro has a nice metal finish or whatever too.

But if I honestly had to choose one, I probably would have gone with the plus and not the pro. Both are okk for the exam but I got the Pro and I can testify in the exam that I got 1 question correctly in as little time as possible thus saving me time in the exam so if you can afford it,go for the pro. You absolutely do not need the features in the Pro. You got me all confused again!

I am thinking to get the pro just to be in the safe side.. The way I see it, get the extra features in the Pro. I practiced my Plus Pro so much that nothing was complicated by exam day.

I have used numerous TI calculators from 83s to 92s and never had issues with their buttons. Can say the same for Plus Pro. Just buy one and start using it ASAP! Only 4 months to go! The extra functions are nice, but not necessary. Are Better buttons that imp vs the extra features on the pro? I ordered the plus you guys: Personally, I think the buttons are a big deal. Use the calculator every day, practice practice..

The test is created so that you should be able to answer the questions no matter which of the approved calculators you use. The most important thing is to use whatever calculator you feel most comfortable with.

It will serve you well. I have the older version; the black one where the buttons are even better. The grey version has stiffer buttons. But both are still better than the PRO. Coming back to this one for the following question: I have done a fair bit of the qbank and EOC questions and I guess that on the other topics I wont need the calculator as much. For the exam I will bring both models and use the professional for NPV. Use the plus for everything. It has full NPV functionality.
